We are a group of people in the Blue Mountains using the arts to explore and celebrate the ‘wild’ and our interconnected relationship with nature and one another, to engage with a philosophy of regenerative living with افلام جنس , an attitude of inter-being with all things.

Fragile Ids perform at Saturday Afternoon Delights, 20th March, 3-5pm at Avalon.

They play New Music and Free Improvisation influenced by jazz, with ambient electronics.

John Shand: percussion.
Jo Truman: voice/piano
Tim Cunningham : electric guitar
Andy Milne: electronic interfacing

Fragile Ids make music that fully reflects who each member – with their varied backgrounds and experiences across diverse musical idioms – is in the exact moment of making the music. The individual identity is of less importance than the collective, however: who each Fragile Id is in relation to the others, in relation to the room’s acoustics and in relation to the mood of the audience. This is music to take both players and listeners on journeys to places they’ve never visited before – and all without leaving Katoomba!
